Transcriere
  1. Making a battery passport with MyProductPassport
  2. Fernway Cycles, a fictional e-bike brand, starts with an empty workspace.
  3. First, add the product: its name, SKU and brand.
  4. Pick the Batteries sector, and the passport follows the EU Battery Regulation.
  5. Then create its passport in one click.
  6. It starts empty. The fastest way to fill it: read the manufacturer’s datasheet.
  7. This is the datasheet for the FX-36 battery.
  8. Upload it. Reading usually takes 10 to 30 seconds.
  9. It proposes a value for each field the document covers.
  10. Every value shows the exact words it came from, so you can check it.
  11. Untick or edit anything, then apply.
  12. Most of the passport is now done. The list shows what is still missing.
  13. Carbon footprint and recycled content usually come from your suppliers.
  14. Send them a private link. Nothing reaches the passport until you approve it.
  15. Once you approve their answers, the passport is complete. Publish it.
  16. It is live, with its own QR code and public page.
  17. The address and QR code never change, so printed labels keep working after edits.
  18. Each battery gets its own passport and QR code, as the Battery Regulation requires.
  19. Print the labels, one for each battery.
  20. Anyone can scan the label with their phone camera.
  21. The passport opens straight away, with no app to install.
  22. In the reader’s own language.
  23. Composition, dismantling and spare-parts data stay restricted. You decide who sees them.
  24. Bring in a whole range from Shopify, WooCommerce or a spreadsheet.
