Passports
Owner registration and warranty
A passport can now ask its owner to register. They confirm their email address and get their own owner page: the warranty with the days left, a certificate to download, and their requests; on Professional and above, also a way to pass the product on to the next owner, warranty included where you allow it. They can stop news and offers or delete the registration themselves. You see every owner, their warranty and whether they agreed to hear from you, and can export them. Starter plans and above. Passports
Service requests from the passport
Repair, warranty claim, take-back, spare parts or a question: the owner sends it from the passport with photos and gets a reference and a private page to follow it. It lands in your Service requests inbox with their warranty beside it; your reply is emailed to them in their language, under your name and colours. Care guides and resale can link to your own pages instead. Try it →
Passports
Individual items and authenticity checks
Give each item of any product its own serial number: its own GS1 Digital Link and QR code, a hidden authenticity code for inside the label, an owner and a history. Anyone can check an item is genuine from its page. Flag an item stolen or recalled and its page warns whoever scans it. One serial scanned in several countries at once is flagged to you as a possible copied label. Professional plans and above.
Passports
NFC tags, including secure NTAG 424 DNA
Download every passport or item address ready for NFC tags, with the NDEF bytes for bulk encoders; taps are counted apart from QR scans. For NXP NTAG 424 DNA tags, each item gets its own keys and every tap is signed by the tag, so a copied link is caught as used before and a made-up one fails. The key file goes to your tag supplier. Secure tags and item addresses need Professional plans and above.
API
After-sales API and webhooks
Add and flag items, read owner registrations and work service requests from your own systems: /passports/{id}/items, /owner-registrations and /service-requests, with new webhook events for registrations, transfers, requests and failed authenticity checks. Try it →

Platform
One catalogue, several shops
Selling the same products on a retail and a wholesale shop? Connect both. The second shop's products are matched to the ones you already have by barcode, then SKU, so each keeps one product and one passport and nothing is counted twice. Each shop gets the passport link and QR code under its own product. Anything the match cannot settle waits for you on the Integrations page, and every passport page shows which shops display it. Platform
Start with a finished example
A new workspace can build a complete, published passport in one click, an industrial battery or a garment, with every field filled, a supply chain and a scannable QR code. Replace the data with your own product or remove the example when you are done.
Website
Annex XIII gap checker
All 37 data points a battery passport must carry under Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, each with its reference, grouped by who may see it. Pick the battery category, tick what you hold or paste a spec sheet to detect it, and get a scored gap list to print or email. English and German, no account needed. Try it →
Website
Battery guides in German
The five most-read battery passport articles are now written in German, not machine-translated, at /de/blog. The blog's date claims were re-checked against Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 and the ESPR working plan and 26 articles were corrected; 18 near-duplicate posts were folded into the stronger article with permanent redirects. Website
Service status and this page
A live status page measures the database, storage, public passports, the API, the email relay and the last backup on every visit, with a machine-readable /status.json. This changelog lists what shipped and when. Try it →
Website
The site in six languages, properly
Every German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Polish page now carries its own title and description instead of the English one. The battery passport page has a full German version.
Website
Faster pages for everyone
Public pages are now served from Cloudflare's edge for visitors who are not signed in. Pages that show prices are always fresh, because the price follows the visitor's country: pounds in the UK, euros in the EU.
Passports
GS1 Digital Link with a real serial number
Where a product carries a GTIN, the Digital Link now uses a per-unit serial rather than the passport identifier.
Legal
Updated Terms, Privacy Policy and DPA
New versions for the UK and EU sites, and the application now behaves the way they promise.
Partners
Partner dashboard
Partners linked to a login see their referred workspaces, commission to date and monthly statements, downloadable as PDF or CSV, inside the app.
Passports
Second-life passports
A repurposed, remanufactured or re-used product gets a new passport linked to the original, as Article 77(7) of the Battery Regulation requires. Both stay live and each public page links to the other.
API
Write any passport field through the API
GET and PUT /passports/{id}/fields: read the template keys and what is missing, write any set of values onto a draft or a live passport. A live passport is updated in place; its address and QR code do not change.
Platform
CSV import takes the files people actually export
Excel's byte-order mark, semicolons, Windows-1252 accents and headings such as "Product Name", "Artikelnummer" or "EAN" are all understood, and the import history now shows why any row failed.
Partners
White-label and reseller partners
A partner can run the platform on its own domain, with its own brand and without ours, and contract with and invoice its own clients. Four partnership models are set out side by side on the partners page, with a live white-label demonstration.
Billing
Euro billing on the EU site
myproductpassport.eu charges in euros: €34 and €94 a month, with a real ten per cent saving on annual plans.
Website
Honest sector dates
Sector pages distinguish dates set in EU law (batteries, wine, toys) from the Commission's planning estimates, and show no date at all where none exists yet.
Partners
Commission statements
Monthly statements per partner with every commissionable payment, refunds netted, as PDF, CSV or plain text.
Passports
EU DPP Registry tracking
Each passport records its Registry submission and outcome, with an export of everything the Registry needs and an API endpoint to update it.
Partners
Referral partner programme
Referral links and partner codes, attribution at signup, a commission ledger driven by Stripe, and a two-page written agreement.
API
Public API reference
Every endpoint documented at /api-docs with request and response examples.
